Yair – the head of the family, born in 1959 Yavnael.

Before opening Avigail Guest House, Yair worked as a bookkeeper.

He served in the army, and even participate the pilot course.

These days other than working at the guest house, he volunteers the police.

Yair: “having a Bed & Breakfast place is a very interesting work, I get to meet different people from around the world and feel like I am on a vacation every single day!”

Yair’s Hobbies: fly model airplanes, fishing in Lake Kinneret (The Sea of Galilee), travel and more.

Avigail – Yes, you are correct! She is the woman behind the name – Avigail Guest House.

Avigail was born in 1963 married to Yair and a proud mother of two sons.

Avigail love to host and to take care of her guests. Avigail love to cook, bake and make homemade cheese (Galilean style), as you can understand, she is the guest house cook. If you want the receipt to one of the wonderful cakes we serve – she is the one you should ask…

Her big happiness is seeing return customers every year for over 10 years now!

Chen – Yair and Avigail’s oldest son and the new generation in our little hospitality business.

Chen was a student at the famous “Kadori” school where many of Israel’s well known leaders studied there as well.

Chen will greet you with a big smile when you arrive the inn, feel free to ask him for anything you might need.

Gali – Chen’s girlfriend and part of our family for the past 3 years.

Gali is living and working with us.

Gali was born and raised in Haifa, not far from Yavne’el.

She loves to meet new people and hear their stories about their trips, be their host and take care of them.

In the last year Gali started a new hobby that might become a professional – baking! Each week the family enjoys cakes and cookies she makes and if it turned out delicious, the guests enjoy it as well!

Gali: “I look forward and will be happy to meet you”.

A little about where we live:

Yavne’el is an agricultural colony in the north part of Israel, south west of Tiberias on road #767.

Yavne’el established in 1901! It has a great history with battles and blood revenge stories, but its main goal throughout the years was the agriculture thanks to the fertile soil.

Yavne’el today contains about 4000 residents, a small peaceful community who match perfectly with green quite surroundings.

We are your family in the Galilee; our phone is available to our guests 24/7 for anything you might need.

We really enjoyed our stay there! The place is really nice, clean, well equipped, and the staff was really nice and helpful. We benefit from a special offer but still we were not expecting this level of quality. The place is peaceful, breakfast is great, the room very comfortable. Many thanks!

Great facilities in location (Huge external hot tub, game zone,…) Wonderful hospitality of owners. The internal decoration of room could benefit from some refreshing (only to compete with other more expensive locations – for price I got – it is a wonder price performance…)

Wunderbare Umgebung, Absolute Stille, sehr sauber, sehr gepflegte Räume, netter Spielraum, nette Terrasse, gutes Frühstück, freundliche Menschen, für uns sehr gute Location (wir waren auf der Durchreise).

Für uns, ohne GPS etwas schlecht ausgeschildert.

Nice setting, quiet and relaxing, friendly owner, spacious rooms, great hot tub. Nice bird life
nothing I can think of.

Perfekter Service in allen Punkten.
